Small changes for some big results
New content for commerce
Along with updating their theme to the latest version I added some more new eCommerce components to the homepage and updated the UX for the consumer journey to maximise browsing depth and conversion.
Custom product options
Some of the hats designed by axel mano are made bespoke, however there was not a way for their customers to add their measurements. I created a second product template with custom liquid added, so that users can include their measurements when adding to cart. I also built a quick pop-up measuring guide and content!
Technical SEO optimisations
Thanks to the built-in SEO basics on Shopify, the SEO hygiene of the website was good, but I added some advanced enhancements like schema mark-up to help the website rank alongside some keyword optimisations and Google Merchant Centre fixes.
